The Guardian recently published an article about wiping away one’s digital track record. The method involved deactivating popular social media accounts such as Facebook, Tumblr, Twitter, etc. Then the article gets into more details about search engines, photos and forums where users have to apply a more direct approach towards getting rid of sensitive data, sometimes requiring reaching out to administrators of the sites. Read the entire article here. There’s even a short video highlighting the process.
Meet Koongoshad. For lack of a better description we’re just going to call him one of our favorite Middle Eastern Tumblr buddies. Thing is, we really don’t know anything about him except that he’s obviously an artist (print focused to be exact), he’s Middle Eastern (As the content on his fine page shows) and he sure knows how to curate some gnarly content that combines the historical, political and progressive sensibilities of his part of the world. And so we’d like to share his Tumblr page with you. Enjoy!
Readers and creatives in need of some manly fashion and outdoor inspiration should definitely check out Mountains And Menswear. This Tumblr’s got it all, tents, gear, land and beards all tastefully curated into visual sushi that Internet design nerds like us love to purvey.
Fashion guru Bobby Hundreds of The Hundreds had some choice things to say about “success” in a recent Tumblr post. Much has been said about Grammy Awardwinnning musician, Lauryn Hill, a large sum of it focusing on her controversial exit from the public eye after the criticallyacclaimed Miseducation Of Lauryn Hill. Today she’s under scrutiny yet again, this time it concerns supposed federal tax evasion charges. Thankfully the artist/freedom fighter isn’t keeping quiet about the situation and has turned to her Tumblr page to release a public statement addressing what she dubs an intentional smear campaign and agenda to systematically destroy her and her art:

I Wanna Nom is a visual social network for foodies. The premise of the platform is to allow users to share their favorite dishes and recipes. Simple enough, right? Because food stills are so stimulating, the site takes on a Tumblresque approach with a dash of Facebook for flavor, meaning you can “like” and bookmark favorite dishes and share/post for all your friends to see. Yum!
They say God is in the details, and apparently so are the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles! Presenting Teenage Mutant Ninja Nosesa Tumblr blog dedicated to the art of the popular 90’s kids cartoon ubiquitously drawn onto all sorts of noses. Yep, celebrity noses, userbased noses, and more!
Funny what a little bit of Photoshop and some free time can do for your creative juices. Take photographer, Max Wright, for example. His clever little Tumblr blog is about as tongueincheek as design gets! What he does is repurpose wellknown company slogans as condoms wrappers. We don’t care how NSFW this is, it’s genius!
While planking may have been yesterday’s fad, it appears that a few folks (apparently with enough free time on their hands) are introducing the lateststocking!
