Nike has recently unveiled its latest upgrade to the digital Nike+ training department and it’s pretty darn awesome! New sensor enabled footwear and bluetooth technology allows athletes to track almost every aspect of their practice and activity. Take basketball for example: after a game a player can view his or her realtime statshow high they jumped, fast they ranand share or compare it with friends via their smartphones. Pretty impressive. But that’s not all, Nike+ has also created a series of downloadable training sessions with some of the world’s most renowned athletes like Manny Pacquiao, Lebron James and Allyson Felix to interactively guide users like personal trainers. Like we said, pretty awesome!
Here’s one for our baller readers. Basketball, that is! Presenting the SKLZ ShootAround, a training chute that attaches to a standard rim’s net and guides the ball back to its designated direction. The 180degree rotation system allows it to distribute the shot back to any postion on the court. For $30 USD you too can do less ballchasing and more shooting. Sweet!

One of the researchers observing the men states: ”Most experiments have been completed and the level of work has dipped off, which means the stay in a bare environment is getting even more monotonous.” Rough.
