The Meadowlands Arena, home of the NY Giants and NY Jets football teams, had a dilemna on their hands. Create a common retail space that accomodates two respective home teams. Enter retail design firm Chute Gerdeman. The Ohiobased creative team went to work by designing a dynamic lightingbased and digital projectionladen space. The reason, lighting and projection can alternate easily, green and white for The Jets, blue and red for The Giants. Good luck trying to get diehard fans to switch that easily!
The 42nd Street A, C, E, subway station in New York City just welcomed a new tenant, Grast. Concentrated heavily on NYC aesthetics and pop culture, Grast offers its patrons all kinds of Big Appleinspired treats. Headphones, vinyl toys, drawings of the skyline, watches, and NYCinspired tees are just some of the items that adorn the clever shop. And that’s not all! When asked, Store Manager Jun, revealed that Grast is currently working with some NYC graffiti legends on a new tshirt collection.
