FUTURA IN MEXICO

Legendary NYC artist Futura 2000 has globetrotted the world twice over. Though renowned, by those in the art world, for his contemporary art as much as his progressive graffiti, Lenny McGurr is still somewhat of an enigma to some fans and newcomers. The following video explores his latest trip down to Mexico to paint a mural with a local artist collective. While there he also sat down for an interview that explains a bit of his foray into things outside of the “Futura” persona, which, quite frankly, as he proclaims, “…is just as interesting as the celebrity.”
