Another recent hire, Ben Shaffer was most recently the Studio Director of Nike’s Innovation Kitchen which brought you products like the Flyknit and depending on you you ask, may or may not have worked on the Fuelband. One thing is for sure, this maybe Apple’s most logical next step or two if they want to come up with and really move the needle when it comes to “wearable technology.”
Here’s is Ben on his role within the design lab while he was at Nike.

The collection includes the Air Force 1, Airmax 90, Free Run+ 2, Lunar LDV Trail, and the Roshe Run’s. The “SneakerBoot’s” are set to land in stores this month.

We have to admit, when we think of John Mayer, having an sick “Watch Game” is most certainly not the first thing that comes to mind. As cliché as that sounds, this is exactly the reason why you can’t judge a pop singer by his music!
Hodinkee’s Benjamin Clymer sat down with John and chopped it up on everything from how he got into watch collecting; to Rare Rolex’s, IWC’s and everything in between. Check it out.
