Retailer to suburban hipsters everywhere, Urban Outfitters just leased the former site of Waterloo Gardens in Devon, Pennsylvania. What are they doing there? Well, they plan to build Devon Yard. A soon to be town center for the town of Devon, and the ultimate “lifestyle” experience.
Many of the in-house brands such as Anthropologie will be hosted by the space, and the town will also have mid-level and fine dining restaurants, a five story boutique called The Devon Inn, and a terrain garden center. If all goes as planned we will be seeing the Devon Yard in 2016.
The ad agency Opperman Weiss out of New York has taken the requisite liquor ad to another cinematic & story telling level on behalf of it’s client, TULLAMORE D.E.W.

So for those who don’t know, or aren’t really familiar…there is a STRONG, and bubbling skate presence in Uptown, NYC. At the crest of this wave is Mira CoNYo, a clan of creatives and skateboarders, myself included, who’s M.O. is pump out nothing but prime, quality product. They’ve been in the game since 2008 when they put out their first skate video. Since then, there have been many creative endeavors from T-shirts to TV shows. Without giving too much away, Mira CoNYo, and the newest purveyor of fly, uptown’s own The Flagrant Club, are hosting an event tonight with free beer and good vibes. Doors open at 7, premiere starts at 8.
