iWatch, uWatch, we’re all watching. After hiring cable exec Jean-Francois Mulé joins Apple from CableLabs, it is readily apparent that AppleTV is not the only front that Apple is looking to blow wide open in the tech sector. Another recent hire, Ben Shaffer was most recently the Studio Director of Nike’s Innovation Kitchen which brought you products like the Flyknit and depending on you you ask, may or may not have worked on the Fuelband. One thing is for sure, this maybe Apple’s most logical next step or two if they want to come up with and really move the needle when it comes to “wearable technology.”

Being from NYC when Fall/Winter hits you got to have that in between sneaker to walk around in to keep your toes from freezing. For me it was the Uptown’s, aka the Air Force 1’s. Luckily the team over at Nike Sportswear put their heads together and came up with the “SneakerBoot,” updating classics silhouette’s and recent designs into winterized versions of the sneaker. The collection includes the Air Force 1, Airmax 90, Free Run+ 2, Lunar LDV Trail, and the Roshe Run’s. The “SneakerBoot’s” are set to land in stores this month.
Leave it up to street artist Banksy to redefine the meaning of audio tour as it pertains to art. Today he launches his month long art show entitled “Better Out Than In” on the streets of New York, complete with audio tour. Where do I rent headphones you ask? You don’t. Each piece will have an 800 number that you call from your cell to get Banksy’s take on what that specific art piece is.

Hol’up? Unreleased Kanye? Last week the internet was blessed and abuzz with some pre-College Dropout ‘Ye. The Mykela “Candy” track below, features and was produced by Kanye two years before The College Dropout, making it almost feel fossil-like. Nearly 10 years ago ‘Ye was “locked in a room doing 5 beats a day for 3 summers” now he is donned Yeezus. Listening to a track like you can hear far Kanye has come and how much he has grown as an artist.
Pharrell, Nile Rodgers and Daft Punk are back with a multi-generational collabo. After previewing it at the VMA’s, the full video is now out. If you live in New York City you’ve definitely heard all the fuss about these new Citi bikes. Whether it be the bikes are too heavy, too slow, or too ugly the dudes over at Animal Bikes and their team-rider Tyrone Williams wanted to shut the haters up and drop this video of Tyrone killing the streets in one. Love them, or hate them the video is sure to bring a smirk to your facial as Tyrone pops wheelies and bunny hops all over NYC.
