THE WORLD’S FIRST 45 MILLION STITCH EMBROIDERED MUSIC VIDEO

THE WORLD’S FIRST 45 MILLION STITCH EMBROIDERED MUSIC VIDEO

This right here is just plain ol’mind boggling! Directed by lead singer Nicos Livesey and his animator/assitant director Tom Bunker for London based heavy metal band Throne, it took several heavy duty embroidery machines to create this 45 million stitch, frame-by-frame music video.

Created for the bands track “Tharsis Sleeps,” the video is heavily inspired by heavy metal sew on patches of a bygone era.

After 3000+ hand drawn frames…
1800 hours of digitizing…
299 square yards of denim…
40 days of animation…
and 8 months to complete, here is their piece de résistance!

Now that’s what we around here like to call dedication!
