COVERED COMIC BOOK HEROINES
Illustrator Michael Lee Lunsford decided to play devil's advocate in the often male-dominated world of comic book art. He's created a series of reinterpreted DC and Marvel comic book heroines that are uncharacteristically clothed. Now while it's usually more commonplace for the art to depict more fetishized and scantily clad females, it's great to see Lunsford present an alternative. Whether or not he meant to strike up a conversation about women's issues regarding the comic book world is up for grabs. Whatever the case, we dig it and what it inspires!
