Presenting LIFX, the brainchild of Phil Bosua. It's a WIFI-enabled light bulb that can be controlled via smartphone. Although currently in its KickStarter phase, the invention has received more than enough of its original backing, so it'll actually be a reality soon! Some of the features include: controlling the lights from anywhere within the WIFI network, choosing brightness or color, receiving text/Facebook/Twitter notifications, visualizing music, creating night lights, shutting off all lights at once, creating groups and automating lights.
