BANKSY V.S. 2012 LONDON OLYMPICS
Bristol native and world-renowned street artist, Bansky, popped out of seclusion this week to showcase his feelings about the upcoming 2012 London Olympics. He shuns the event by replacing a javelin thrower's equipment with a missile and depicting a pole vaulter hurdling over a real fence. The message? That maybe there are more political issues concerning our planet than a mere "spectacle" comprised of international athletes.
