According to a recent article on PSFK, a legendary (but not so healthy) New York City staple–the hotdog– may be on its last leg as rising consumer interest in healthier and more elaborate food alternatives are in. Not only that, but the city's health department is currently weighing in on the possibility of letter-grading the food carts that serve the street snack, just like they do with restaurants. And what does it all mean? Well, to put it "frank"–the end of days for the dirty-water dog! Yikes.
