NEURAL CHIP INSTANTLY TEACHES RATS
So apparently scientists have discovered a way to instantly "teach" lab rats new information–sort of. With a little experimentation using an electronic system that effects the neural signals of the brain, researchers have been able to toggle memory in rats so successfully that they may be on the brink of instantly "teaching" them:
These integrated experimental modeling studies show for the first time that with sufficient information about the neural coding of memories, a neural prosthesis capable of real-time identification and manipulation of the encoding process can restore and even enhance cognitive mnemonic processes
