BRAZILIAN ROBOCOP SURVEILLANCE

BRAZILIAN ROBOCOP SURVEILLANCE

In what seems to be a scene right out of Terminator or Robocop, Brazilian authorities are now demoing glasses that scan civilian faces. The device can scan 400 faces per second and works at distances of upwards to 50 feet. It then compares the biometric points on those faces with the ones of criminals and terrorists in police databases. The argument for this technology is that it will minimize the need to random ID checks, but guess what? It's already happening inside the shades!
