TO BE YOUNG IN CHINA

TO BE YOUNG IN CHINA

Enovate, a youth-focused insights and design company based in China, has created a crash-course on what it means to be young in the country. The film is a response to Box1824's video, We All Want To Be Young, with specific focus on Chinese youth culture, history and statistics. One of the more prevalent concepts revealed in the video is that China's current generation of youth are mostly one-child policy derivatives, meaning that they grew up centered around the family and the primary focus of its values and wealth–something rather unique for any child. It will be interesting how this focus and energy transpires within the coming years. China is certainly the country to watch, and its new generation, the generation to pitch to!
