A BRONX “TALE” AT SUNDANCE
New York City's infamous borough of The Bronx was the talk of the town at this year's Sundance Film Festival. Well, the silver screen rendition of it, anyway. You see, thanks to director and Bronx native, Rashaad Ernesto Green, many festival goers and picture distributors alike, were captivated by Gun Hill Road, Green's film debut about the dramatic, inner-workings of a Latino family. The movie stars an estranged father (Esai Morales) that returns home to his wife (Judy Reyes) and "son" (Harmony Santana) after a three-year prison term. The rest is film history!
