As 2011 approaches and New York City’s Times Square becomes an international focus for ringing in the New Year, not everyone is interested in the ball drop and billboards. That’s right, folks like Project Times Square To Art Square, are actually looking to “change” the face of the landmark by proposing to turn all of it’s advertising in art. Complex, you say? Indeed. But they’re serious, and they’re (somewhat) funded.
