NEW YORK IS KILLING CHRIS CUNNINGHAM
After a 4-year hiatus, famous music video director, Chris Cunningham, debuted his latest work at New York City's Museum of Modern Art (MoMA). The piece is an audio-visual remix that interprets musician/poet Gil-Scott Heron's song, "New York City Is Killing Me." The video is a dark and ironic trip that juxtaposes the city's underground train tunnels with Heron's image and vocals. Prior to this, some of Cunningham's most renown directorial work includes Bjork's "All Is Full Of Love," and Madonna's "Frozen."
