DAPA AND THE DANR JOIN FORCES TO HELP THOSE AFFECTED BY TROPICAL STORM NOEL IN THE DOMINICAN REPUBLIC
To assist the victims of Tropical Storm Noel in the Dominican Republic, the Dominican American National Roundtable (DANR) based in Washington, D.C. and the Dominican American Professionals Alliance (DAPA), are coordinating efforts for any organization or individuals wishing to help.
If you are interested in making a donation or organizing a relief project, visit www.danr.org. There you can make a donation, learn about other relief efforts in Dominican communities throughout the U.S. and provide information on any efforts you have undertaken on your own.
Additionally, the office of Assemblyman Jose Peralta in Queens has indicated that they have set up a relief fund with the Hispanic Federation. Donations of checks or money orders can be sent to the following:
