Don’t Let Me Drown is an Independent film written by Maria Topete & Cruz Angeles and developed at the Sundance Filmmaker’s labs.
LOOKING FOR BLACK & LATINO URBAN YOUTH:
(Male & Female, 15-19yrs)
The film-makers are looking for young, charismatic, energetic, funny and real hip hop New Yorker street-smart types. Actors and extras will be paid. Union and Non-Union actors welcomed.
In a post-September 11th world overflowing with fear and hate, two Latino teens discover that sometimes the only thing that can keep them from drowning is love.
Transportation and meals will be provided. A professional tutor will be on set for the young people who are still in school.
This can be a great opportunity for a young person with talent who wants to start an acting career.
No prior acting experience necessary.
