REVOLUTIONARY PHOTOGRAPHY | PBS DOCUMENTARY ABOUT FIVE PHOTOGRAPHERS WHO CHRONICLED THE CUBAN REVOLUTION

By Led Black

Revolucion REVOLUCIÓN: Five Visions is a visually stunning documentary that tells the story of the Cuban revolution through the photography of five Cuban photographers whose lives and work span fifty years of Cuban history.  What makes this doc compelling is that the five photographers featured, Raúl Corrales, José Figueroa, Rogelio “Gory” López Marin, Manuel Piña and René Peña, all have contrasting viewpoints which allows this work the freedom to escape the Pro-Castro/Anti-Castro dichotomy.  This must-see, breathtaking documentary debuts tonight April 10th at 10:00 PM.
