THE NYCHHC IS SEEKING A SENIOR WRITER FOR ITS CORPORATE COMMUNICATIONS AND MARKETING DEPT.
The New York City Health and Hospitals Corporation (HHC) is seeking a versatile writer who can craft creative, compelling copy, translate healthcare concepts into lay terms, and create strategic voice for editorial content of various communications tools. The Senior Writer will be a key member of the Corporate Communications and Marketing Department and will be responsible for researching and creating copy for newsletter, website, opeds, executive speeches and annual report to promote strategic initiatives and corporate achievements.
Education: Bachelor’s degree required. Advanced degree preferred. Major in English, Journalism, Communications preferred.
Experience: Minimum 10 years experience with progressive responsibility for researching and conceiving, writing and editing health care content for multiple platforms, including speechwriting and new media.
