Nsa_1 Big Brother is in effect, for real.  On top of the recent revelations that the government has been wiretapping the communications of everyday Americans, the New Scientist is now reporting that the  Pentagon’s National Security Agency is looking into popular sites such as MySpace “to combine data from social networking websites with details such as banking, retail and property records, allowing the NSA to build extensive, all-embracing personal profiles of individuals”.  No Place To Hide, a book by Robert O’Harrow Jr. is an excellent resource on the convergence of technology and government snooping.  Be Afraid – very, very afraid.
