In keeping with its all-out assault to woo PC users, Apple announced last week the launch of its free computer take-back program.  When U.S. customers purchase a new Mac they are offered environmentally friendly recycling of their old PC’s.  In addition to the hilarious series of new MAC-PC commercials, the release of the new Mac Book and opening of its 24/7 store in NYC, Apple is making a concerted effort to capitalize on the market share dominance of its iPod to lure PC users into the Mac world.  I think the campaign is having an effect, I finally bought a Mac Book last week.
