UNIVISION ANNOUNCES THE EXITO ESCOLAR SCHOLARSHIP PROGRAM FOR BAY AREA LATINO YOUTH
This year, Univision 14 is proud to partner with Kentucky Fried Chicken (KFC) and Mi Pueblo Food Stores to award $45,000 in scholarships to Bay Area Latino students through our annual Exito Escolar educational campaign. Since 1988, Univision 14’s Exito Escolar campaign has assisted and inspired our Bay Area Latino youth to pursue higher education through educational messages, news stories and special programs. The deadline for this year’s Exito Escolar Scholarship Awards has been extended to June 2, 2006. Please share this information with Latino youth, parents, educators and community leaders.
Exito Escolar Scholarship Requirements
Applicants must reside in one of the Bay Area counties: Alameda, Contra Costa, Lake, Marin, Mendocino, Napa, San Francisco, San Mateo, Santa Clara, Solano or Sonoma
The student must be enrolled in the 11th or 12th grade or must be enrolled in an accredited community college or 4-year university.
The student must submit a fully completed scholarship awards application. Applications that are not fully completed will be automatically disqualified.
