APR. 28-30, 2006 :::LOVE::: A TRAGIC ETUDE
A group of artists from Buffalo, Pittsburgh, Montreal, Caracas, Tel Aviv, Columbus, Kuala Lumpur and New York got together in a room to stage a series of violent acts and bloody interludes related to love. The result is 65 minutes of action, live music and multi-media telling the story of Fernando and Arena, two young lovers separated by military conflicts. LOVE deals with moments of inevitable separation and the effects of power over human relations. It explores the process of decision making in extreme and unexpected situations. Love will be presented for free at the Schapiro Theatre at Columbia University.
