On October 1st 2005, Rainey Park in Astoria, Queens will be hosting the biggest Latin Rock concert ever. Featuring live performances by: Lucybell | Superlito | Volumen Cero | La Secta |Circo | Enjambre(CA) | Morrison(CA) | Jugete(CA) | Viva Malpache(CA) | Infuso(FL) |Tango 36(FL) | Tereso(FL) | Monterosa(FL) | Una Via(NY) | Lopez(NY) | Skampida(NY) | Momposonica(NY)
ROCKELPARK will become a yearly event with a day full of performances, arts and crafts, food vendors and much more. The concert’s mission is to educate the youth and to promote social awareness thru music.
The event will be composed of one day of live performances by local, national and international bands. The event will also help raise awareness to many social issues such as cancer research, aids prevention and natural catastrophe victims, through the non-profit organizations that will be there. These organizations will beinforming everyone of their own mission and how they can become more involved in helping others and even those close to them.
The Park will be open to all and the entrance will be free of charge.
The public will also enjoy the arts, the food, and a lot more.

ROCKELPARK has united in the effort to help the victims and survivors of Hurricane Katrina and proceeds will be donated to the Red Cross.
